Hey guys!

Yesterday i bought the Captain Sim Boeing 727 and its great, but i have one problem, I don't know how to use those old autopilots.
I don't want to change the panel becuase its amazing, so I was wondering if you, with a little editing in the panel.cfg, could maybe transfer an autopilot gauge from the lear or the 737 or whatever?

It would require that you alter the panel. I do not think that you could alter the autopilot just by editing the aircraft cfg file. But I have never tried it. I would first back up the orignal file than try pasteing auto pilot lines from one of the planes you mentioned. I would be surprised if it works but I am not sure. 8)

No offense, but doesn't that defeat the purpose of the aircraft?

Get out that manual from Capt. Sim and start reading.

There is supposed to be a lot of info in the manual about the autopilot.  I've downloaded the Captain Sim 727 manual (its free), but when I found out it wasn't going to help with the freeware 727 I've got, I decided not to spend any time reading it.   Those old school autopilots are not very intuitive, and you definitely need some sort of instruction on them.
