Slight Problem With Active Camera 2004

Postby romaruk » Sat Jun 11, 2005 8:30 am

Hi All,

Has anyone used Active Camera to walk inside the passenger area of the plane??  I have tried my best to get this to work but with no luck.  All other aspects seem to be working fine.

Any help would be appreciated.  This would be great for Wing Views etc.

Many Thanks

Steve

What happens when you use the number keys?

You have to select Active Camera>Internal Pilot(unselect external pilot). You can only walk around inside the cabin if a cabin has been modeled, which for the vast majority of aircraft is not possible, infact i have not found an aircarft where you could. It is kinda possilbe in the default ford tri-motor, but only half of the cabin is shown(for obvious reasons).

I have the same problem! When I press Num9 it just looks straight/right instead of moving around in the VC like the FS2002 version.

Help here is also appreciated,
Ashar ;)

You need to turn on internal camera.  Making sure your num lock key is on, goto your virtual cockpit + cabin and use the number keys on the num pad to walk around.  If with that its still not working, check to make sure your version of FS9 is not 9.1.  If it is, don't worry, just goto active cam's website to download the 9.1 patch.
Cheers,
RB

Thanks for all your help.  It really does get on your nerves when you have these pieces of software that say they will do all these fab things and you find they just don't.

Everytime I selected the internal pilot view, when I use the numpad keys and hit 9, as I turn around all I see is the outside of the plane and the wings.  Very strange.  I will check the version number but it does become a pain in the neck.  It would be fab if everyone who produces these fantastic addons would work towards a format that works for everyone out there.

Most of the MelJet fleet has an internal cabin modelled.
