How bizarre...

You woulda thought if he were taking time off he would wanted more money while he were off

Well, it does seem bizarre, for the reasons that granted we all need some time off, but he closed his forums too, and he had a couple of other moderators that handled the forum other than himself.

I hope he isnt closing down shop for good. I like Bill's shtuff

EDIT: Well, as I figured...

Check the AvSim forums under general Flight Sim something or the other. Apparently some comments were made on his forums, or I would suspect in emails to him, that Bill didnt take kindly to, and he pulled his site. I hope it isnt permanent as the work Bill puts into his payware is some of the most fun out there.

Not something that needs to be discussed at SimV. A little searching the flightsim web network and you can find what you need to.

All I can say is I hope Bill and Lynn Lyons dont disappear as I for one LOVE the fun they put into their products.  And if he does stop I for one will miss his work. Its quite original and some of the little things he adds are what makes it special

I found out roughly what happened (I don't know why you couldn't of given me a pm).
It just reminds me why I like these forums better, nobody here ever b*tches like them.
Its a bad thing Mr Lyons pulled his site, I liked the planes he released for free, and rest assured if I was a little older would consider buying some..............

but it really all sounds like some high school drama, its messed up on all sides

anyway thats my two cents

Reason I didnt send a PM is I can only go by what I read. I wasnt there, nor was I privvy to seeing his forums, so anything I would say would be heresay, and of only my opinion, not fact, and not something Im willing to get myself into. I just know I dont like not having access to Bill's wonderful products.
