Sim Charts

Postby ChrisM » Wed Apr 13, 2005 3:05 am

Does anyone have "Simcharts" by Jeppesen?  What is it like.  Cos i am looking for some charts for down under and there aren't many on the "Simplates" program i own.  Is the coverage better?

Thanks :)

How much are they, and why would you want these?

Are you looking for SimPlates of the U.S. or for Australia?

Hang on, i'm talking about the actual program that you can buy and install that will provide charts.  It's called SimCharts.  Is that what you are talking about, i was wondering if anyone had the program and could tell me if it is worth buying.

Yes I know what you are talking about, I just wanted to know what it was since I would not want you to spend money on something you can someties get free, legally.

These are like SID's, STAR's, airport diagrams, and runway approaches...correct?...if so you could get these free in the US...

ChrisM, have a look and see if you can find what you are looking for at http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/publications/aip.asp

Or for a more direct link to the charts,
