Aerialfoundry hornets *almost* ready!

Postby Boss_BlueAngels » Tue Oct 12, 2004 12:59 pm

Wohoo, it's getting closer... only... 4 months after they said it'd be ready mid-June. lol  Anyway, they say the model and flight testing is done for the Blue Angels versions and only need to set up a "store front" to purchase and should be done in two weeks.  (or in their vocabulary... the translation is 2-3 months)

Anyway, if the flight model is HALF as good as the physical apperance of the jet, it should be more than worth the money and wait.

Check out the screenshots over at www.aerialfoundry.ca

And you can expect a complete review as soon as I get my mits on that beauty and put her through her paces. :D

You know I am an advocate of payware, but there is also (ducks and runs for cover) an excellent F-18 freeware, that has an available Blue Angels repaint for it?

Yeah, I've downloaded every Hornet I can find for flight sim, and honestly find the flight model (not even to mention the visual model on some) to be extremely unrealistic (see note below).
