Hi. I have not boughten any payware yet and I may have found one that I really want. I was looking at the Custom Classics by Bill Lyons. I know the first 5 are freeware, and I love them all. The newest 5 are payware. I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy one of them. Do you think they will be freeware soon? They look really cool. The one I might want is the Travel Air. Any help would rock! ;D

Ben,

I have every one of Bill and Lynn Lyons' payware aircraft. I love every one of them. For $12.50 they give you a lot for your money, including several files that you can use or not, such as their water textures, a file that removes the red lettering like "Brakes" and such, or "Parking break" when you turn that on.

Not only that, but the Travel Air package comes with a few variations of the Travel Aircraft, and scenery files such as a train that you can chase if you so choose.

The one thing that stands out with their packages are the little detail "easter eggs" of which I will not get into, but are an excellent touch. They are best found when flying around then clicking on the various things around the cockpit.

Travel Air is a great package, though my personal favorite is the Grumman Goose ;D

Several of their Custom Classics packages are available as freeware over at No-Nodes.com.  I would download these first, so that you can see how truly amazing they are.  Remeber, they are older versions, so the new ones will be even better.  Their freeware Waco is a must-have aircraft.
