Memphis Belle from Pro Flight

General discussion about payware add-ons

Memphis Belle from Pro Flight

Postby Wing Nut » Thu Nov 06, 2003 8:05 pm

Has anyone bought this plane?  This may be the rare add-on, like Lago's Falcon, that is really worth the money.  I checked too, and it is approved by the Memphis Belle Memorial Association too.  I was just commenting last week that I really wanted a quality B-17 too.  The fact that it is the Belle is icing on the cake.

Well Pippin, I was givin it a mighty strong eye myself, when I bought their Cessna 310 Twin last night, mmm.
It does look enticing, I'd like to hear from some who has it too.

I know im EXTEMELY pleased with the Cessna 310! :P
They do appear to do some fine & professional work. :)

Hi Pippin

I have bought it.

IMHO it's good but not great.........

Do you plan to use it in FS2002/4 and CFS3? I am not really sure that its worth the price for just FS2002/4.

FS 2004 mostly.  Since I beat CFS3 I barely play it anymore.

Hi Pippin

Well in that case, I am not sure that I could recommend it at the price.

I would rate the B-17 in Fs2004 as on a par with an average Alphasim release ( which costs only half as much). I was disappointed by it (at the price).

IMHO, a top quality payware (even at the high price) would be the Flight One 421c Golden Eagle or their Meridian for example.

Hope this helps you.

Cheers Paul
