Now this is bad investment.

General discussion about payware add-ons

Now this is bad investment.

This guy may have wasted his hard-earned cash on something that unknowingly has problems, but at least he provides a review what he experienced and is helping us avoid the experiences he had.

Go to this link and you'll see what I'm talking about.

It may be a long review, but the intensive reading is well worth it.

As I understand it a review is a report on something on sale while a preview is of something that has not yet been released. In that case, the word review seems appropriate.

I wouldn't purchase an FS addon myself but Flight One are a reputable company & I understand their products are generally excellent. They might well take offence at the title of this topic. I know I would in their position. Please remember that any review/preview is one person's opinion. My own opinion is invariably the exact opposite & I rarely take much notice of them.

Actually for your information we at FSI have purchased many of the add-ons we review. Also, you imply that, when we are provided with an add-on for "free" that this has a bearing on the type of review the add-on concerned gets.

You are wrong - for example, I got the PF F117 for "free" but paid for the CS F104.

While i've got the chance (not really to do with the topic) I think your magazine is absolutely great, keep up the good work!

This guy may have wasted his hard-earned cash on something that unknowingly has problems, but at least he provides a review what he experienced and is helping us avoid the experiences he had.

Thats the whole point of the review, to give something a rating. If they only reviewed the best stuff what would be the point?

Im not saying your review is biased but that one sentence does imply that the software was provided for you to review.

of course there is no way for me to know for sure so, if i am wrong then i publicly apologize.
