"◾Free Flight mode, so you can try out your newfound skills anywhere in the world "

Interesting.

Even more interesting - "OS: Windows® 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)"

But am I willing to give up out of memory crashes?

All for $15. Might get it.

This simulator is not meant for us, please keep this in mind.
Buying it would just be a waste of 15 dollars.

It might be worth it as a preview of their full 64biy flight sim. I can't believe that they don't share some code. But I can easily wait and see.

...+1.... :D ...!

Its all too easy to forget that all we old-timer, Flight Simmers, learned how to master our little Cessna 150/152 Trainers many, many Moons ago!
Every one has to start from scratch, and I always hope that the new Simmers start off with the Cessna 152 Trainers first, before taking off in Boeing aluminium passenger tubes!..... ;) ...!

Its fun learning how to master an aircraft, and fly it correctly and safely, something I practised, and mastered, long ago!.... ...!

Welcome to all the new-comer, budding Flight Simmers...

....have fun training.....I did!!

Paul.... ...!

P.S..... I still, after all these years, practice my "flying" skills in my little Cessna 150/152 Trainer, most days of the week!.... ...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

There's one bright side - Flight School will be released this month.

I'm not big on games, but every now and then I'll see one that looks interesting. Unfortunately, I've spent much more than $15 on games that I haven't played more than a few times.

So long as Flight School isn't as bad as Microsoft Flight, it might be interesting for many people.

Interestingly, I've just realized why I'll only play most games a few time and junk it - In "games" you have to follow one of the paths intended by someone else to get to the goal.

In a flight sim you don't even need to follow the laws of aerodynamic flight all that much if you don't want to. Fly up to 60,000 feet and switch to a Cessna 150 for a long flight down? No problem.

Too bad that there isn't an FSX like ATV/dirt bike game. I might like that too.

60,000 feet ASL in my little Cessna 150 Trainer....

This soft is meant for those who don't even know about flight sims, or those who know, but only tried once before giving up in front of the complexity of modern sims.
DoveTail's Flight School is made for the people who actually want to know/understand what a flight simulator is about.
People who are registered to a flight simulation forum usually already know what it's about :)

I don't understand the meaning of your question ?
What I was telling is that Flight School is aimed at the people who are interested in planes but could never get past the complexity of using the actual simulations (FSX/P3D, XPlane, DCS etc...).
Flight School is meant to guide the user into the world of the simulation, so that they can discover this progressively and most importantly, smoothly.

Users like us, which are already knowing how to use a simulator, have nothing to learn from Flight School.
