I hate to say this, ................

.............Help.

I'm having to do a complete install of all software on my trusty puter, but (there's always a but), I've got quite a lot of Earth Simulations Scenery for which made into ESI packs as instructed. Now I thought that as I have made the packs everything would be fine, well it ain't, it seem I still need serial numbers. I'm at a loss as to what to do, Earth Simulations have stopped trading and as far as I can see there is now way to contact them.

So chaps and chapesses does anyone have a suggestion I know that some of the stuff can be bought from Flight Store.

Cheers

I looked too, but didn't find any solution. Heck, I didn't even find any cracks. Not that I really looked for them.

The question is - have you started installing software on you "old" disk? If so, then there's not much hope outside of the CIA.

However, disks fail for many reasons. Sometimes they can be brought back to life long enough to recover data.

I've done it five or six times. With the right software it's not rocket science, but it's not always successful, either.

The software that I used use, SpinRite, to cost $65 years ago. Now it's $90.

Hi

Thanks for replying I did that mainly to recover some music files I deleted by accident, it seems the serials are not stored on the computer, at least in a way that they can be read by mere mortals. I have tried the ESA support desk but so far no reply and have also E Mailed Flight Store as they are selling DVD versions of the software, but not Shawbury Fields which is a shame because it was a really spectacular piece of scenery.

Cheers
