It's not uncommon for the flight sim stores to limit the number of times that you can download a product, and The FlightSim Store's 100 download limit is, or should be, more than adequate.
Simply put, you buy "it" and download "it". Your count is now 99. Do it again and the download count drops to 98.
The problem is that so many people are trying to download the two Orbx products (Global & Open LC Europe) that have been slightly modified to load onto FSX (any version) and/or Prepar3d (V1,V2, or V3) that it's pretty much shut down the Orbx downloads. At least for those two products.
Heck, if I were The FlightSim Store I'd want some kind of compensation from Orbx for crashing the FTP servers.
In all honesty, I don't expect to get down to the "You have one download left" notice. Still....
So for whatever good it'll do I've sent them this email.
Due to the release of Prepar3d V3, the FSS downloads have been incredibly slow (up to an estimated 2 days) to non-existence, regarding the Orbx downloads Global & Open LC Europe.
Unfortunately, *every attempt* to download reduces the number of times that I am permitted to download a particular piece of software.
My guess is that I'm one of thousands experiencing this problem.
If you can't restore the count for all the failed attempts, can you at least stop reducing the "count" whenever the download *doesn't even start*?
Thank you in advance.
