Did AH really announce this two years ago. I guess the complexity of the aeroplane has taken its toll. Anyway, hopefully not too long to go now. ^-^

Yes it'll be READY by 2070 just in time for me , as I sit in my Wheel Chair from old age and all screwed up on Meds and partially blind .

BUT it'll give me something to do in the Old age flight training school, other wize known as the Nursing home :D

By then I'll be too old to give a damn what I'm flying or even know if I'm flying,,,

probably won't even be able to turn a computer on due to arthritis at that age.

lets see that'd put me about 127 years old    :o

I might be a Yank but the VC-10 is one of my favorite Tubeliners too. Right up there with the B727-200. Many fond memories of watching the BOAC VC-10s landing and taking off
at L.F.Wade Int. in Bermuda. I made four deployments to the military side of the airport ( Kindley AFB / NAS Bermuda) in the early 1970's. I really had to applaud the BOAC pilots because many times their final approach was with a very strong crosswind and they made the approach and touch down look so easy. Top notch pilots one and all.
