PMDG 737 NGX - Can I save midflight?

Hi all,

I was flying the tutorial 1 flight for the PMDG 737 NGX and saved the flight before the TOC. When I loaded the flight later to continue the plane went back into the initialization procedure (20 second countdown in green bar at top of screen). All my settings and FMC had been reset...

Does this mean that all flights the this 737 have to be completed in one setting or did I miss something completely?

you can.

in the fmc, find the "panel state" options and save current panel state.
now make it the default panel state.
then save flight in fsx.

when you launch the flight again, you will be right where you left off and all controls / systems as they were.

Thanks for the response, I tried and yes, it does load the saved and selected panel state, but I still get the 20 second initialization message and during that time the plane does not respond and starts to lose speed and altitude like all the systems are frozen...

Any other advice?

I've been flying it seince It came out, and I never have. I don't think you can save mid flight from my past experince with PMDG.

Wish I knew that before I bought it. So then you only do short flights? And what other pay ware flight would you recommend?

Or you could pause and minimize FSX...

Anything PMDG, the Aerosoft AirbusX Extened, Majestic Sim Q400.
