Hey my mate in flight get Prepar3D Academic now and then you have a smooth flight and steady frame rate. Key word steady . In the move theatre frame rate is 30 frames per second CONSTANT!! that is all you need for the human eye but "steady" is the word . I have FSX and Prepar3D installed and switching from FSX to P3D is no problem. I transfer all my planes to P3D ( copy complicate GAGE file to there Gage> EFECTS to there EFECTS and then copy plane of your choice> simple) and retain all in FSX to. It was a breeze. I go to FSX it is nostalgic I have use it from the lunch day and tried every which way by installing and uninstalling all promising ad-on to correct that FSX judder. It is generic frame problem so they sold it to P3D people they fix the problem and are continuing to improve it even more.I realise is the same simulator as FSX just getting upgrade and you have to pay for it. >END
