I have installed GE on a fresh install of FS9 and immediatly there was major improvement. (sorry no screenie)

Granted with GE you should have a good terrain mesh such as FSGlobal. But even with just a default setup it is great.

Personally I run GE/FE/FSGlobal/UT USA&Canada/Alaska, these combined transform the sim into a totally new experiance. And many times I find myself pausing the flight to jump outside and look at the world in a new light ;)

As for Flight1 site blowing smoke i don't see how, they specifically state that the screenshots are taken with other enhnacements, if this wasnt stated then you have made a point ;)

The product does exactly what it states it does and that is improves the Ground Enviroment, add-ons installed or not.

If you were to buy it which I recomend I would also sugggest terrain mesh of good quality (FSGlobal is the best for me) without it you will have a greatly improved flat world :)

It's true, they state that specifically, and this means they are honest. But by not presenting the effect that their product alone produces on a default FS2004 install, they are not giving potential customers the chance to correctly evaluate the purchase.

You know maybe you should write them and tell them that, couldn't hurt. You make a valid point.

I understand what your saying but I would think that since a huge majority of simmers already have such enhancements installed they figure why bother, really who uses default stuff anyway? LOL! ;D

I think the best thing they could do is offer a limited trial, or try before you buy like some people do. This would allow one to check it out and see if it works on thier system.

I just got GE last week but am not sure if it works. If I post a shot here would any of you that have it know the difference?  It probly is working though. Flying into Amsterdam last night the ground looked fantastic! I am thinking about purchasing UT USA/Canada (Alaska? part of that package? Need to look again) Is it downloadable too like GE was? I couldn't tell bt the site here at work. Was in a hurry. I'll be doing a fresh install (again!) This weekend so that all the terrrain shows up as it should.  Between Silver Wings, Reality pack,TreeGen 1.0,GE, I can't tell what is and what ain't anymore :P.
