I have a hard decision now, a2a b17 with accusim, or this...

It really comes down to, what type of flying do you prefer to do? Or perhaps price is a factor?

I like all types of flying, and I can afford both.

What is the superbug like? Does if or can it be flown by the book?
Easy to use auto pilot unlike the default?
Wish I could get both...
Oh well I guess once my pay check comes I will get one of them and next pay check the other.

I think you will be satisfied with either product. The Hornet is designed to be flown by the book. Everything is completely functional as in the real aircraft and the only parts that aren't modeled are still classified by the US Navy. Some FSX exclusive features:

*Completely reworked external and internal (VC) models with additional geometry and reduced draw-calls.
*New advanced skinned-mesh animations.
*Missile smoke trails and plume effects.
*HUD NVG mode for VFR through-the-HUD night vision in any conditions.
*Custom landing lights which illuminate not only the ground, but objects and auto-gen.
*New highly dynamic g-induced and mach vapor effects.
*A completely redone FSX-native material set including improved weathering and baking, specular, and bump mapping.
*7 cockpit-selectable strobe patterns modeled on the exact same frequencies used in the real aircraft.
*Model-based exterior lighting with fresnel flaring.
*Acceleration compatible carrier operations.
*Full-screen HUD replaces 2D panel (no 2D instrument panel is available in the FSX version).

Every Navy squadron livery is re-produced. And the soundset is absolutely brilliant. 8-)

Perhaps these shots may help you make your decision. ;D

The sound set was actually done by the boys over at A2A.

...and one hell of a job they did (as always) 8-)
