Hmm well my AES is legal, so I don't think I will be deleting that  ::)

Still no joy.

Oh well, I can still perform a full flight in the 747-400.

Can't think of what the problem could be, and I've tried a re-install. Maybe it's something do do with the AP system? Can anyone think what might be changed in the AP when passing through 20,000'ASL? When it crashes I am not doing anything in regards to altering the autopilot or FMC, so maybe its a AP process?

Hmm..

Is it possible for AES to be illegal, considering it's a free download  ::) ;)

Do you really have to install stuff in a certain order????

PMDG wise I only have the 800/900, and that works fine on its own....

The base pack is free but to activate most airports you need 'credits' which you purchase in packs of 10. Obviously people have been releasing serials so thats why AES checks in to compare them?

Not saying thats correct but AES does use this credit system so I would say it would be entirely possible.

And I made the mistake of installing the 737's over the 747. It's not good as the 747 contains many new SID/STARS and also the PMDG in-game menu is ruined  ;)

You know what...I think you should set aside a few hours and spend them wisely un-installing all of your PMDG packages...I know it's a hassle, but it should get your problem fixed...Check my older response which has the email I got from the PMDG team...As you can see, they will give you fresh installs in case you need them...I get the strange feeling that your PMDGoptions.dll has been damaged in some way...Try it out and see if it fixes the problem... ;)

Check this out .........Googled the error message.

It seems that the error message could be caused by any number of things ..... a few listed below.

Hi!

The Error message 0xc0000005, is often caused by a corrupt videocard or PCI card driver, like the soundcard for ex. Update your drivers at the hardware manufacturers home.

Another possible cause.

Thanks for that eno  :)

However, the thing I'm still finding odd is the I can complete flights in the 744 aswell as all of the other addon aircraft I've tried (both freeware and payware) so I can't be sure if it is a computer problem, as surely if it was related to RAM I would atleast be experiencing the problem within FS, let alone while running windows normally. I also don't have a problem flying full circuits in the 737 and spent well over an hour last week doing so, it seems to be just a problem with ascending about 20,000  :-/

Thanks for everyones help, I've just emailed the PMDG guy my details and so he should be sending a new installer through. Hopefully that will fix the problem  :)

All the best,
Alex
