Caranado 182 RG Install prob with Win 7

Postby jimm57 » Thu Sep 08, 2011 12:59 pm

I have the Caranado Cessna 182RG, and it ran great in FSX using Win XP. Now Running FSX on Win 7 and it does not show up. Reinstalled many times. How to make it work in Win 7?

(I tried emailing Caranado with this problem and when I submit the question, I get an error my email is invalid because their submission form has a bug that inserts a in the middle of my email!)

Thanks in advance

I'm taking a stab in the dark, but does it install via auto-installer?  If it did, and you used it and ensure that is was pointed to your FSX location, it's possible that the auto-installer did not install it in the correct directory, especially if you did not install FSX in it's default location (C\programs(X86)\FSX)

Thanks for the reply Boikat, but yeah, I directed the auto install to my FSX directory, even tried the Sim Objects/Airplanes. However I made a folder and put it in there and it works. Now my problem is there's no thumbnails for it and all my planes on down are shifted! How can I add the thumbs?
