High Quality Payware

Postby EJW » Fri Jul 24, 2009 6:20 am

Hi, i've only ever bought 2 payware aircraft for FSX.

-Douglas Skyray by AlphaSim
-Dassault Mirage III/V by Skysim

I'm pretty satisfied with the quality of the Dassault, but thought the Skyray was a little basic, especially considering it cost me

Well....

...in 10+ years of daily "Microsoft" Flight simming. I have never had the overwhelming urge to spend loads of money on Payware Aircraft.

In practice, all the Default, and zillions of excellent Freeware Aircraft from various sources have always satisfied all my requirements and needs...

The only things I occasionally purchase (rarely) are various Utilities, etc, which are only available as Payware.

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Navigator... 8-)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

The Aerosoft F-16 is a great payware military jet.  If you like the Acceleration F/A-18 then you will like this one, probably like it more.

Thanks! I've been looking at the F-16 lately and i'm very impressed with what I have seen, and it is without a doubt well priced, but it is a maaaasive file. Not sure if i'd be able to fit much more on my comp after that!

Maybe you could look into an external hard drive?

If it doesn't have to be a jet, get the AEROSOFT CATALINA!  :)

I just can't convey how detailed, realistic, and just generally nice it is!

I have been fairly impressed with both the Carenado and Eaglesoft brands.  I would rate them as good or better than the default.
