Does anyone have the Aerosoft F-16?
I am thinking of getting it, but I want to know if it is good quality and can I see some pics of the flares?

Thanks! ;D

Raptor
I keep seeing these requests from you for various military jet aircraft.....If I could make a suggestion
First of all let me say I'm a huge FS fan and have been for years, however when it comes to getting into military jets and having fun flying them FS just doesnt do them justice IMHO  ;) if your prepared to spend money on the Aerosoft F16 which I dont doubt is awesome (I have their DHC2 and a Dornier27 I bought from them) you should try dropping $20 on any of the Strike Fighters series http://www.thirdwire.com/project_sf2e.htm then go to this site http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?au ... &showcat=2 where there are thousands of great freeware downloads available for the game
heres a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZhYnqLa ... re=related
the scenery isnt FSX quality, but the cockpits are comparable, and the flight models are exceptional......and they have flares  ;D

I have the Aerosoft F-16 and it does not drop bombs, flares, shoot missles, etc.

It does however fly like a dream, the VC and paints are top notch and there has to be close to 30 repaints out there that have already been made.

The flight model is probably as close to real life as you are going to get in a FSX military jet.

I like this one better that the Acceleration F/A-18A and the Captain Sim F/A-18D.

If you are registered in the Aerosoft forums go check out the F-16 forum.

Save your money for the VRS SuperHornet for FSX.  It has flares, drops bombs, fires missles, dispenses chaff, can sustain damage from simulated SAMs, has the most accurate flight model and is the most realistic military fighter ever modeled for the Flight Simulator series.

Plus when it comes out, it will go nicely with the FSX carrier freeware scenery that was just released.

Just been to the VRS site.

Looks promising, but I gotta wonder just what "coming soon" means in real terms :-/

I'm really tempted to buy it too! The 'problem' is that it's such a massive download it is often too much for many people as it makes FSX run really slow.
