A few questions on IRIS F-14 but not only...

Hi All,

I have just bought IRIS F-14A Tomcat v 1.5 and have a few questions related to it. Please, answer the following:

-      Is IRIS Tomcat v 1.5 ready for carrier operations? If yes, than which carrier add-on (freeware or pay ware) is most suitable (both working AND looking good)?
-      Has anyone else found the rudder very hard to operate? Is there a way to alter it

1. Yes it is ready for carrier ops, and i suggest flight deck 4 or 3 by abacus.

2. No. I have not found it hard to operate. You could get Air-Ed (Freeware) (on Simv!!!) and edit the sensitivity.
3. I have no clue what the, oh wait, mfd multi function display, ok i dont know cause i dont mess wit it.
4. Nope, no radar, there is a way to see ai and multiplayer on fs(2004 only that i know of) and its a program called ATCRadar screen v5.0.
5. i dont have the x52 joy, but didnt it come with a profiler? you could assign a(n) keystroke/axis for either then use profiler.
6. for '04, not that i know of, but for x there is if you right click in game and press mouse view or i thin if you hold spacebar then move mouse.
7. no but i hear there is a typhoon that does that in the model.
8. I dont know about editing fs, as i am not that geekish.
