General discussion about payware add-ons

Choices....

Postby born_2_fly » Sun Feb 11, 2007 2:22 pm

This isn't really a question of buying payware, more of what to do with it, but i thought it belongs here anyway!

Basically, I'm slightly confused as to what sky textures I should use, and just wondered if anyone feels strongly about any of them.

Currently I have 4 programmes capable of producing sky colours:

1) Activesky
2) GEPro
3) Real Environment Pro
4) Flight Environment.

Any help as to which one, *you* feels produces the most realistic sky colours?

Cheers,
Alex

Flight environment will give you 1000s of different sky/water combinations ranging from the surreal to the ultra real. Add active sky into the mix and you will get fantastically real skyscapes as it overrides the FS weather engine and allows more cloud layers.

Thanks eno  ;)

I know that personal preferences vary, but would you mind posting the cloud combinations/water/sky sets you use? As you said, there are thousands of different combinations, and I'm almost feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Many thanks,
Alex

I wouldn't know where to start ........ there are hundreds of the testers favourites included in Flight Environment. I just pick one at random and see what it looks like. Add into the mix real world weather from Active Sky and woosh .....you're off.
