The payware section is the place. ;D However, you'll barely get any hits there. ;)

I was just in PC World today and looking at the software titles available. There are a number of good addons, but if you have the VFR volume then the UK aiports as already listed is probably a good buy. There is another scenery one too for the UK, but I think it covers the VFR terrain area. I picked it up, but only briefly looked at it.
If I flew more I'd buy them, but 25, 30 quid for something I'd rarely use is money down the drain. ;)

No, wait a minute I think it covered the whole world. It was 14GB and the UK was an area. Duh, my memory is terrible and I'm only 18!  ::)

Hi.  I don't know much about payware, but yesterday I downloaded some UK terrain mesh in three parts covering south-west, east and north UK.  Don't know how good it is (it's still dark outside and I just left UK airspace), but it may be worth checking out.  I found it on flightsim.com.

VFR scenery is quite good when you include the terrain mesh to go with it as well as UK airports. and some addon aircraft have little pieces of scenery included too. PM me and I'll give you my number so we can chat about some other enhancements Skysim Limited can supply. :)

From experience, I'd say go for at least one payware plane (I got the PSS Concorde first and it's the most challenging to learn, now I've got 4 pay-planes) and maybe something like Ultimate Traffic to bring the skies more alive.
