partial missing panel on Carenado V35B

Postby jphespe » Sun Aug 10, 2014 7:28 pm

I just reinstalled the Carenado V35B Bonanza. Everything works except the left hand side of the panel is partially missing. I checked the texture files and it appears the panel is complete but does not display. Attached is a sample of the panel.

System is an HP Pavilion dv6 notebook, Win8.1, 64 bit, 8 Gb Ram, Raedon HD6700M graphics card, Intel i7 processor and 1 Tb HD. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can see that the entire aircraft is there. The panel view is the only problem.

It looks to me, a rank tyro at panels please note, that the .bmp file for the main panel is missing or it calls out the wrong one, as well as the scaling and size being a little bit off...

This is a typical display bug with the VC of some FS9 aircraft in FSX + SP2. I don't know anything about payware aircraft but is this an old addon?
This one for example. http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=cv35

Note the comment near the bottom of the page.
Important Notice on Download: Patch for FSX is included! The aircraft is not compatible with FSX Service Pack 2 (SP2) or the FSX Acceleration Pack add-on!

If there's no official patch or update it might not be possible to fix it.

Hagar, you jolted my memory. I do recall that the original files that I downloaded from FSPilot Shop did have an FSX patch. Shooting in the dark, I contacted FSPilot to see if they still had my long ago purchase on file. Yep, much to my surprise. Adam Howe went beyond the call to clear up the problem and sent me what I needed. Many thanks to all for your help,

Regards, and good flying,

Hagar to the rescue...again! "And as our hero rides off into the sunset....." (<-- That's a line from the closing monolog of the 1950's TV series "The Lone Ranger.")

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
