The incredible Machine is great ant it is one of those games that will never be outdated

well I sometimes instal it ,to play it bring me back good memories,I remember that voice (the intructor and the lady)that was my first encouter with this FS world  8)

I wouldn't say I actually play with it anymore. More like test and compare things every now and then.  I actually have all versions FS1 thru FSX on my PC.  I use emulators to run versions 1 thru 4 and about version 5 I can run them as normal.  Quite a kick.

It's interesting to venture every now and then to older FS version forums just to see what possible could be happening.  Same type stuff just in a different version.  Reading a few posts above this of an old timer finally moving from FS98 to FS2004. Man, is he in for a shock!

i did haveit installed on my laptop at one stage to play during boring german classes but its gone now

Had it installed on the previous machine... but lost it when the harddisk died

Have it installed and use it from time to time. Mostly for IFR routes. Not really the simulator for VFR, it is not. A great platform to teach about VOR navigation though (no default GPS), even if an update of the various worldwide VOR, NDB and ILS would be nice (yeah, I know, I have a dream ).

I love the old games and sims, they run so well on newer hardware that I can turn all the details up.  Newer OS is a slightly different matter... :-?

I have it on an old 500MHz P3 machine that gets dusted down once a year, had it on a laptop too - along with Crimson Skies/CFS-1/CFS-2/FS2002 until the 'HD' (and the 'LCD') finally gave up on me!.

Probably played CFS-1 more thou' - especially over the firm's LAN at lunchtimes - happy days!...

FS2000 all the way! My comp is too old to handle Fs2002 (Never tried it mind)

Why not FSX?

Probably because it's still cheaper.  The reason I've never installed FS2k4 is because it's too large a program -- FSX?!

I think this Block should be remove , eventhough FS98 is still well preserve Like brand new as my FSX box ,its too old ,this block should be use to instead FS98 should be all MSFS before FS2000, or [i]MSFS From the last century, see how funny was the beginning o this game
