Do you still play FS98

Released in 1997, FS98 was heralded at the time as a great new Flight Simulator.

I accidentally selected it yesterday and had a little go on it.

Maybe, unless in a time warp, just because it was there?

FS98 was my first flight sim, and got my started in this world of sim. However i now dont have it installed, which is a dissapointment, so i recently put it back on, and that brought back alot of memories.

Since FS8 scenery worked in CFS1, maybe I'll try it in FS98.
I now have FS95 through FS9 installed (FS9 takes up a bit of space but I cleared some of the unused off of my hard drives and did some rearranging). The main drawback I've had with FS98 is the often bland scenery texturing compared to CFS1 which was produced not long afterward.

The closest I come is I have a Beechcraft C90 and a Beechcraft B99 made for FS98 that I fly in my FS2002.  It's weird when I used the same planes in FS98 the props didn't spin like a turboprop would but when I installed them into FS2002 they operated they way they should.  It's very interesting.

Yes, but only occationally and with a joystick and Rudder Pedals with the same interest and zeal, to learn things ,I was flying the Cessna,Learjet and Jet planes with only a hand held gamepad. It stimulates a lot of the thrill which I enjoyed  as  it was in those days. Thank you for the opprtunity you have given by your present post in the Forums. :)
