Scenery Conflicts?

Released in 1997, FS98 was heralded at the time as a great new Flight Simulator.

Scenery Conflicts?

Postby Gordie » Wed Mar 15, 2006 7:05 pm

I have found two different downloads for La Crosse, WI.  The one does a good job of populating the airport with planes but the bridge across the Mississipi directly in the path of runway 18 is missing.

The other claims to have detailed scenery for the town.

Is there some way of combining these?  Should I keep them in separate folders within the main Scenery folder?

If I add them both to the Scenery Library, how will I know which is which?

Only way to find out is to try it. If there's a conflict it's easy enough to deactivate one or the other.

If I add them both to the Scenery Library, how will I know which is which?

Install each one separately in appropriately named folders so you can recognise which is which when you activate them.
