1024x768x8?
Posted: Fri Mar 03, 2006 5:15 amWhy is that my max allowed res, according to everything I've read the game supports 1600x1200x16 so why cant I run it? MY computer doesn't even show x16 for color options and 8bit color is just ugly

Posted: Fri Mar 03, 2006 2:15 pmAlso, I had problems with new NVIDIA drivers. With drivers 77.77 the game appears to run fine, however when I upgraded to 81.98 mip-mapping and texture filtering stopped working, so I'm using the old drivers at the moment.
However, with Direct3D mode turned on in the FS98 options, 16 bit mode should be available.
