Installing Scenery

Released in 1997, FS98 was heralded at the time as a great new Flight Simulator.

Installing Scenery

I can't get past the "invalid path" message when I try to add scenery to my library.  I have used windows explorer to go to the file and see the .bgl files.  I must have missed something.

There is a tutorial for adding scenery but it is for FS2002.  Would it work for FS98? ???

Just follow this excellent FS98 scenery tutorial and you'll be fine ;)

I guess I'm just too dumb then.  I get an "invalid path error, but it doesn't tell me why the path is invalid.

I have started looking at the folder of *.bgl files, then backing out all the way to the c: drive, but it won't accept my path.  Grrrrr. >:(

If you follow my instructions in the tute carefully there's no reason it won't work. Make sure the scenery is configured correctly & you type the path to the BGL files correctly & exactly as shown.
