Released in 1997, FS98 was heralded at the time as a great new Flight Simulator.

FS98 Aircraft Creation

Thanks to Hagar and cheesegrater, I have picked up a bug.  A good bug. :D  I would like to know where to find software to build planes for FS98.  I bought my FS98 on EBAY.  I have a plane or three that I would like to modify slightly, such as taxi radius, backward taxi steering, etc.

If someone knows the name of some software and would like to reach me via e-mail, I'm at gpj@core.com.

To edit how an aircraft flies and behaves on the ground you can download a free flight dynamics editor.

Here is a direct link to the file:

I am not exactly sure what does what in the editor. I found a site with a bunch of tutorials that might be helpful:

You can also paint an airplane with a free program or edit a panel with a free program like CfgEdit. If you want to edit the visual model of an airplane I think you might need a payware program like Aircraft Factory 99. I think there are other ones but thats the only one I can think off the top of my head.

However, if you only want to change how the airplane flies - the flight dynamics editor is all you need.

Thanks a lot, cheesegrater! ;D  I've just downloaded the editor and I've copied the url for the tutorial.

I'll try to let you know how it works out.

Thanks, again!
