Change the wind direction. Aircraft always take off and land into the wind.
Most FS2004 aircraft will work but FS2004 uses a different gauge set so the panels may be missing gauges. Most of the FS2004 gauges are the same as FS2002 gauges with different names so if you have a panel editor like FS Panel Studio you can just edit the panel.cfg file.
FSX aircraft probably won't work.
