Modification of FSX and FS2004 files to enable flying in FS2002

Postby ajver » Mon Jul 25, 2011 4:28 am

How can I modify FSX and FS2004 files to be compatible with FS2002 ?
I have seen one case wher a person has modified the FS2004  Spirit of St Louis to fly in FSX, so tthis can be done.
I suppose it needs some modification to the .cfg or.air files.
Please help.
Thank you

They can be modified for newer versions, but not usually for older versions.

Most of the earlier FS2004 models will work without requiring changes for FS2k2. Also CFS 2 models will work as well ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
