Brazillian Landmarks

Postby Northwest 102 » Wed Jan 27, 2010 6:30 am

I just made a flight down to Rio De Janero Brazil to see if there are any landmarks visible. Does anybody know where any are?

Thanks, first time flying out of the US on flight sim.

Used to fly Rio a few years back in FS2002, just take off and look around, there's SugarLoaf Mountain and some other stuff, can't recall exactly what, but it's a pretty cool place to fly.  There's a Rio scenery download here I think that improves things a bit, I seem to recall it had a minor bridge glitch.

Isn't there a major statue down there?  I think of Christ?  That's the one I was trying to find.

I think it's on top of SugarLoaf Mountain, if I'm not confusing it with something else .  You can't miss the mountain, it dominates the area, but you might have to get up close to see it.
