No plane...

Postby Rman91Bird » Tue Jul 08, 2008 3:26 pm

I downloaded the Bowers Fly Baby for fs2002 I have done everything the same as i have done for all the other aircraft i have downloaded but here is what happens: It says on select aircraft it is there but when I click on it it does not show up like the aircraft normally do.  I selected the Fly Baby just to see if it would work.  The only thing that does show up is the panel and there is no control at all the plane will just sit there.  Do you know how to fix this?

Thanks.

Are you sure it's for FS2002? Post a link to the page you downloaded it from so I can check it out.

Yes -- have someone make a 2k2 model for it: as Hagar's inquiry indicates, you may have downloaded it for FS2002 but it's an FS2004 model.

EDIT: There was, reportedly, an FS98/2k version; if so, it would work in FS2k2. This message is four years old but you can try sending the author an inquiry message:

CANONS are LOUD PIPES, are also DANGEROUS and certainly DON'T SAVE LIVES when in use. However, hybrids are transitory appeasements to the oil industry.

Just for starters, to save messing inside the .air file, correlate folder and file names:
Change the name for the aircraft's main folder to BowersFlyBaby rather than Fly_Baby.

Aside from that, it works in my 2k2 sim.
