Hi I don't know if anyone still runs FS2002, but I have a question.
I installed me old copy of FS2002 on the Vista computer and I'm olny gettin 6, 7 and 9 frame. I would think if I can get 15 20 frames with FSX in San Francisco. This computer would have no problem running 2002.

Vista is not compatible with MSFS2002. That is why you cannot run it. If your computer is new enough to have vista, you can most likely run FS9 on high settings (depending on your setup)

I have basicly the same computer, Vista Home premium Invdia 8600.
The problem is with just a basic FS2002 install, with no addons, I'm only getting 6 to 15 frames a second. Does anyone know anything about this???

The thing about Vista is it used DX10, but I don't know if that would foul thigs up.  I've been downloading and experimenting with installing FS2002 add-ons in FS9 and FSX, some work in both (with some swapping of sound and panel Aliases), some work in FS9 only.

Except for the DX10 thing, probably most of the add-ons will work.  There's only one way to find out, and unfortunatly, I do not have a copy of FS2002.

What type of error code are you getting?

I have Vista home premium to and FS2002 runs perfectly for me. Try running it in XP2 compatability mode. Getting DX9 might fix it.

Yeah, and i'm a heretic. Not only do I play f2002 more then FSX, I think it's better.
