fs2002 screen going blank problem

Hi everybody, I am having a problem with fs2002 in windows vista, I have a new pc with pentium d pro processor. When i run both addon scenery and standard scenery , when I choose any plane and then go to spot plane view the, computer thinks 4 a while with a black screen, then shuts down the game. Could anybody on this forum please help me solve this problem,

Hi There, I appear have found away round the problem I mentioned in my first post, Instead of choosing view options, on the FS2002 menu I choose view mode and can then choose spot plane or tower view e.t.c without the machine crashing. However I am finding running fs2002 a problem i.e. the screen stutters at times with vista basic e.t.c even on my new pentium d processor computer, I may install Windows XP on my machine I may find FS2002 runs better on there, as it does run better with XP on my laptop,
