Missing flights & airports

Postby reggie » Fri Jul 07, 2006 4:53 pm

I seem to be having problems with fs. I created a flight from Giza to view the pyramids. When I went to load it, nothing happened & the computer froze. I reopened fs & went to the fs flights, as they have one listed for the pyramids. The same thing happened when I tried to load it. It seems that Egypt is not being recognised. Does this mean that I've lost some data & if so, how do I retrieve it. I've looked for an add-on for that area, but cannot find any. This has happened before & normally I can rectify it, by creating the flight again, but not now. Thanks.

Im not entirely sure if he is talking about the acual flight, rather that the flight won't load due to Eygpt and the surrounding area being corrupt, if this is the case I suggest copying the Africa texture file from the FS disk into your sim. Not sure what its called, have a funny feeling its Afri, or Africab, or something. Anyway have a looksey

Alex

BTW, is this problem in your fresh install of FS, or is this problem out-of-date?

Cheers.
