Hey guys and Ladies,   I just got the FS2004.  I'll be catching-up in "that" forum mostly now.  Boy do I need your continued help.  [check me out- - - - please]       Thanks so much.     caveman

is there advantages to upgrading to 2004? Are there improvements?

Ther is a definite differance.
You might want to make sure you have the system to handle FS2004 The Minimum system requirements will work but you will have to tune down the sliders to get descent frame rates.
If the system you have is right at or a little better than the minimum I would suggest to not turn on AI for starters it will help a little on the frame rates.
Of course you do not have to have a SUPPER system to run FS2004 with but like most graphic oriented programs the better your system the better the game will run. 8)
