Hi Guys and Ladies,   I'm being that 3 year old again - - -  ;D.   What do the gold stars to the upper left of the post mean or signify.? ?  Always - - -  My thanks.     caveman

They just show how many posts you've made (approx.) at a glance.
50 - 2 stars
100 - 3 stars
250 - 4 stars
500 - 5 stars (the max)
Green starts signify a moderator (powerful individual who can do terrible things), red stars indicate an admin (these guys make Sith lords look like Mother Teresa!)
