Alaskan Goatpath

Postby caveman16 » Tue Nov 15, 2005 11:28 pm

Hi again Guys and Ladies,      Just thought I'd take a few moments to thank you for your help and to perhaps encourage the new members to the forum.   I live out in the middle of nowhere in the western end of NC in the Nat Forest.   This forum is the only place I've found to help me with all the DUMB QUESTIONS  I have.     Believe me - - -  there is no such thing as the above.     I've been reviewing the past POST and am now at page 265 of the 441 pages.   Very interesting - -  and I thought I had questions! ! !    Most of them are answered and there are so many I never had the questions let alone the answers.      I was flying in the western mountains of Alaska and as a rule  -  - - -  VFR with a Topo in my lap.    Anyway - - -  I came across this trail  sorta like a goat path..    Sure enough ,  there it was on the Topo.   After pointing it out to my lil'wife - - - -   she said :  How about that - - -  and they don't even have our town  which is about 17 miles away  in the Sim ! ! !  :)   :)    :)    As for you newcomers - - -    Mayby next year many of the problems will be solved and new ones taking their place . Look at these Flight Sims as a way to travel all over the world from inside your home  almost as the rich do   :) :) :)    And who knows  -  -  they may even have some place you've been in the past that you can revisit .Since they can put a goat path in     --------     who knows what is in the future .          I love it and at the same time get to meet some very nice and helpful people with the same dreams.Enjoy the Flight Sims .       We're all in the same boat - - -   - - oops  -  - plane , helping others and being helped. I sure didn't get my nickname for my "smarts".  :)        caveman

You're reading every thread? :o That takes a lot of motivation.

You don't have to go through all that trouble. If you have questions, simply ask anyone here. We're all glad to help, as we we were all newbies at one point ;)
