Hello i can not get my radar to work (eric marciano f-16)

someone told me i need to have FSUIPC 2.974

where can I get it and is it possible to install?

You can download version 3.48 right here at Simviaton, but that's only the first part of the dance.

Once you get it downloaded your radar still won't work until you get a 12 character key from Marciano that he has to get from Pete Dawson at FSUIPC. I understand that he (Marciano) can get the key as freeware, but if you or I want to get it then its PAYWARE. So far as I know this 12-character key is not available or at least not available yet.

With the payware you also get a whole bunch of other "bells and whistles" that may or may not be anything we are looking for.

Our best bet is to get Marciano to contact Pete Dawson and get this 12 character key for his radar which then will make it usable to those of us who want to use the radar in his F-16C Panel.

Does anybody know how to get in touch with Marciano ?

Marciano's  panel is quite good however even without the radar, and I use it in an F-16C and think it's great.

Falcon 4.0 has a more complex panel if your computer can handle it. Don't know about the game play on Falcon 4.0 but have heard that it isn't as good, but the panel is fantastic.

Pete Dowson will gladly give you the code to activate F16.gau for FSUIPC 3.x.  It's right here, or

This is not a hack but a freely available code from Pete Dowson's own website.

Version 3.x will work fine with FS2002 but you will have to go through the hassle of of either paying for it or activiating freeware gauges as set forth above.  3.x adds no additional functions to FS2002.  Version 2.974 or 2.975 (see Pete's website, there is no difference) is (or was, if you can find it) free and does not require any registration.

Well its not quite that simple.

The codes that Pete Dowson has posted will not work with the radar that Marciano uses in his F-16 panel, or rather the radar in the F-16C panel won't work with the posted codes. Anyway it requires something else that I can't figure out.

From your post to Karateka it sounds like you might have one of the earlier freeware copies that you would be willing to share (like ver. 2.974). If that is the case I'd be most appreciative if you would share it with me also.

I forgot to mention, you should delete modules/fsuipc.ini, as it will be re-created.

thanks to ya all. the radar now works. I found the 2.9.7.4 FSUIPC at www.flightsim.no and that did the trick.
