FS2002 with Logitech Gamepad

Postby Dodgey Geezer » Thu Jul 21, 2005 7:59 am

I have just bought a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad for use with FS2002.  It claims to be compatible with all FS flavours, and even has a preset config file specifically for FS2002 - but do you think I can get the damned thing to work?

If I use the Logitech widget software, I can assign key presses to the various buttons, but getting the joysticks and d-pad to respond properly is proving  a problem.  I then have to have the joystick 'disabled' in FS2002 for it to use the Logitech settings.

If I try it the other way (switch off the Logitech widget, and configure the keys within FS2002, and enable the joystick), it doesn't seem to recognise when I press buttons or move the joysticks...   >:(

I think I've wasted my money... Has anyone else out there had any success using one of these gamepads?

Upset DG...  :(
We've got to get her to a hospital...
A hospital... what is it?
It's a big building with patients - but that's not important right now!
(Airplane - the best flying movie ever made!)
