Sumthin has changed !

Postby Jamie » Sat Jul 02, 2005 11:19 pm

Hi ,
This is probably the result of power interruptions with my PC ?  I purchased a battery backup , but never worked right so is not connected .  I can shut down both engines on the default Baron ( or any twin ) and can only re-start engine #1 . Selecting E-2 will make no difference .  Ctrl-Shift-F2  or F4 will affect the mixture control for engine #1 only .  Hitting E then 1 and 2 quickly is ineffective .  Still can only start #1  .  If I select E & 2  , number 1 will still only be affected .
I really miss watching each engine start with any twin and especially the Howard 500 .

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Dave ,
You saved the day !!!  I have watched the engines start many times with no problems .  The settings were the problem .  1 & 4 were the only ones that had anything by them and had changed by themselves for some reason . I have never looked at those .
Love this forum and thanks so much Dave ,
