My Joystick has been working fine for about a year now, but recently it has started to screw up. For instance when i start FS2k2 and i begin to fly whatever airplane, when i push the throttle slider forward all the way, the computer only goes to say 8o% power. I have tried recalibrating it several times. However when i do, it results in the trim controls on the joystick being centered but on the game they are to the extreme (all the way up or down for elevator trim). And the throttle reverts back to its screwed-up state eventually. I have found that unplugging it and plugging it back in leads to normal operation temporarily but always reverts back to undesirable operation. So i may have to unplug and replug twice in one flight. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rafiki

If its not a USB but a 9 pin D-plug then its probably a loose wire and can be easily fixed with a soldering iron, however if its a USB one then its probably FUBAR.
As it works by being unplugged and put back in I'm guessing its a loose connection....

It is a Saitek X45, the throttle control is a seperate unit that connects to the stick itself (via 15 pin), the stick is USB, maybe i should check the connection between the two. The throttle assmbly is home to all the problems so that may be it. Thanks, i'll get back to you.
