Real World Weather

Postby G-EORGE » Mon Apr 18, 2005 6:55 am

I'm not sure if this is a problem with Jeppesen or MS, but my real world weather never seems to work over France!  For instance,  if I was flying Heathrow - Cointrin with say, overcast clouds and altimeter 3002, as soon as i hit French airspace the skies will be clear and the altimeter back to deafult 2992.  Then as soon as i reach Switzerland, there are the clouds again.  Can anyone shed any light on this??

Hmm. No, I have a different problem with France and FS2002 - I get over the coast and real world weather is unaffected , but the frame rate unaccountably drops from around 15-20 (normal) to 5 or 6. The only way I can restore it to normal is to clear all the weather, and re-load it once I get out of French airspace.

Strange.

I have the same FPS problem over France.  It is a known bug.

I didn't know it affected weather, though.

I've had all my near misses with AI over France, but I think that is just FS being As Real As It Gets ;D
