According to AeroSite, and Simviation (part of this parent website), 41,000 ft is the listed service ceiling.

I've been in a 747 as high as 38,000... however I've also been in a 737-800 at 38,000... 41,000 ceiling sounds just about right though...

The Aircraft Hankbook that comes with FS2002 says the Max Operating Altitude is 45,100 ft.

Don't try to get there right away with a full fuel load.
