This isn't that bad of a problem if you know how to deal with it.

When another aircraft barges in front of you, go to Options, Settings, Traffic (in game).  Set the traffic to 0%.  Then hit ok.  He'll be gone.  Then go back through Settings, Options, Traffic and set it back to 100%.  He'll still be gone.

Continue with final 8)

yeah, i could do that, but i like the added realism of the traffic being there, guess ill just have to power up and jump ahead of him. o well, but still are there any other ATC programs out there and a cloud replacement program or anything?

Ahh, me too, but here's the way I look at it-I like the utmost in realism.  Is it realistic that ATC would let another aircraft jump ahead of you?  The answer is no!  Therefore, you are allowed to cheat and get rid of him in order to make it more realistic.

I apply the same rul to using spot view to taxi into a gate (I ALWAYS fly from the cockpit); in real life, there'd be someone there helping me. :D

I doubt you'll be able to find another ATC program for a game that already has ATC :'(
