FS2002 q's

Postby adkleaddog » Thu Feb 24, 2005 2:03 pm

I'm a newbie to the forum, got fs2002  which I've used for some time, and a new hot computer.  Dell @3.2mhz, 512kram, top of the line video card etc.....

What upgrades do you all think I should start with, I've tried to download scenery upgrades to start,  but I get a page that says it doesn't exist or not found.....  ???

From looking around at the posts there seems to be a lot to do.....

I appreciate the help in advance, and look forward to  making fs2002 better than it is.

know that one by memory, just browse the 2002 section. If you've got the hardware you say you have, start downloading the best things you can find!

Sure same here.  Just plow through the downloads section and there are more add-ons there than there is time to deal with them. ;)

and go for FS9 while your at it. better graphics. I only use FS2k2 when my aircraft calls for it.

but yeah, start wih aircraft & airports (like I did). then read some tutorials, get some prgrams like afcad & gmax, and it becomes DIY.

The add-on meshes for whichever bits of the world you want are here on SimV - they're very good. There's a huge amount of addon scenery for most parts of the world - browsing the pages is a lot of fun. And pretty much any plane you want.

Go for it!
