I HAVE REPLACED A FILE I SHOULDN'T HAVE. IS THERE ANYWAY OF GETTING IT BACK. I HAVE CHECKED THE RECYCLE BIN.

Scour the three CDs that FS8 comes on and just copy and paste.

got windows XP ??
On the START menu hit RUN and type in SYSTEM RESTORE and it will lead you into picking a date to restore to ... just type in a date when you had the file. It's in there somewhere :-)
Not XP ? use start menu & search function.

cfg file i have tried system restore only goes back an hour on my system
