I HAVE REPLACED A FILE I SHOULDN'T HAVE. IS THERE ANYWAY OF GETTING IT BACK. I HAVE CHECKED THE RECYCLE BIN.

Scour the three CDs that FS8 comes on and just copy and paste. :)

got windows XP ??
On the START menu hit RUN and type in SYSTEM RESTORE and it will lead you into picking a date to restore to ... just type in a date when you had the file. It's in there somewhere :-)

Not XP ? use start menu & search function.

WHAT file did you delete that you shouldn't have?

cfg file i have tried system restore only goes back an hour on my system
